Encompassing the small towns of Meridianville, Hazel Green, and Toney, Madison County NW offers little in the way of "big City" entertainment. It is home to popular Colonial Golf and Country Club. It is a rural community with its' own quaint shops and businesses. Don't look for fancy restaurants with cloth napkins and candlelight. Instead, look for local fare such as Posey's restaurant located on HWY 231 and popular fast food chains. This area is a short 10 minute drive to Huntsville North's Lowe's, Super Wal-Mart, and many other popular shops and restaurants.
