Things To Do In Huntsville Alabama:

Come out to Jaycees Building off Airport Road on Thursday, September 19 to take part in the 2013 Autumn Chase 1 Mile Fun Run. The fun run is free for all kids pre-school through 8th grade. This is a great opportunity for your child to come out and experience the joys of running. The 1 mile course takes place on the grounds of the old Airport near the current Jaycees Building. All children will receive a T-shirt and finish line ribbon to remember their accomplishment.

All children will run only with kids in their grade level with separate races for boys and girls (Pre-school and Kindergarten, as well as 6th through 8th grades run together but separate races for boys and girls).

While awards are given to the top 10 runners in each grade (medals for 1st through 3rd and ribbons for 4th through 10th), the emphasis is on health, fun and just completing the run.
